大晦日は、年越しそば食ってから、アドリアン・モリラスの絵を上げたあたりで、非常に眠くなり、寝て目が覚めたら、23時20分。漸うテレビを視出せば、福山雅治氏が歌っていて、ナイスタイミング。
別に福山雅治氏の歌が好きというわけでもなく、紅白歌合戦は本当にどうでもよく、ただ、最後のホタルノヒカリの合唱の後、「行く年くる年」の梵鐘がゴ～ンってなる音、あの雰囲気のギャップが毎年楽しくて見逃せないと思っている。
別に福山雅治氏の歌が好きというわけでもなく、紅白歌合戦は本当にどうでもよく、ただ、最後のホタルノヒカリの合唱の後、「行く年くる年」の梵鐘がゴ～ンってなる音、あの雰囲気のギャップが毎年楽しくて見逃せないと思っている。
当地の、改修工事終了間もない勝興寺が映ったりして、それを視終わってから、ト二・エリアスの絵を仕上げて、こうして上げているわけだ。
意図したわけじゃないが、赤が賑賑しくって、何となく正月っぽいでしょ？ 違う？ そりゃ、残念。

2006年の10月、ウチの両親、まだまだ足腰元気で、夫婦してスペイン、ポルトガルにいた。で、ポルトガルにいた時、丁度地元のGPでジモティー、ト二・エリアスが絶対王者ヴァレンティノ・ロッシを抑えて優勝しちゃったものだから、そりゃぁもう大騒ぎさ、だったそうだ。
当時、多分60代半ばの母、オレがテレビでGP見てたので、宇川徹氏とヴァレンティノ・ロッシ氏の名前だけは知っていて、ト二・エリアス氏の名前もその場で覚えたんだそうな。もう、多分忘れてるけど。
今はあからさまにそれをやると危険行為として厳しいペナルティがあるみたいだが、ト二・エリアス氏、特に下位のクラスにいた時はインのインを強引に割り込んでくるスタイルのレースをやっていて、なんだ、こいつ？ と見ていて思っていたものだ。
あの時の男の子も、もう40過ぎなんだそうだ。月日の流れ、怖え、怖え。
